Belgium Ends the E-Invoicing Grace Period
The general tolerance period for mandatory e-invoicing between Belgian VAT-registered businesses ended after the first quarter of 2026. Businesses are now expected to be fully compliant.
Compliance Alert – Hermes Updates Timelines for Decommissioning
In a recent announcement by BOSA, the Belgian Peppol Authority, Hermes, and the Hermes SMP are being decommissioned, with the plan to fully empty the SMP between 20:00 on December 16, 2025, and 2:00 on December 17, 2025.
