Denmark proposes new requirements for standard digital bookkeeping systems
As part of efforts to increase voluntary adoption of e-invoicing, the Danish Business Authority is proposing amendments to the requirements of standard digital bookkeeping systems (DBS). At this stage, requirements are not proposed for custom digital bookkeeping systems. Most new requirements are proposed to become mandatory from January 1, 2027.

On March 19, 2026, the Danish Business Authority released version 1.16.0 of the Danish CIUS package and version 1.2.13 of the Danish Peppol BIS 3- Other package.
